Privacy Policy

Last updated: 22 July 2026

oopsiebill.com ("oopsiebill", "we", "us") is a small, independently-run website. This policy explains what happens to your data when you use it, in plain language, in line with the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and the ePrivacy Directive.

1. Who is responsible for this site

oopsiebill.com is operated by Marcin Grzanka. For any privacy question, request, or concern, contact:

2. Your subscription data never reaches our servers

The subscription tracker on this site runs entirely in your browser. When you add a subscription, its cost, or a renewal date, that information is written to your browser's local storage (a small storage area built into every modern browser) and stays on your device.

We do not operate a database of user accounts or subscription lists, we cannot see what you enter, and we do not receive, transmit, or back up that data anywhere. If you clear your browser data, use a different browser, or switch devices, your list will not be there — which is also why the app offers an "Export JSON" backup button.

Because this data never reaches us, it is not something we process as a data controller, and most GDPR mechanics (access, portability, erasure) are already fully in your hands: you can view, export, or delete everything at any time directly in your browser, with no need to contact us.

3. Cookies and similar technology

We use two categories of storage on this site:

If you click "Essential only", no advertising cookies are set and no advertising script is loaded.

4. Advertising with Google AdSense

oopsiebill.com is free to use and is supported by advertising served through Google AdSense. When advertising cookies are active (see section 3), Google may use cookies and similar technologies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this and other websites, and to measure ad performance.

Google acts as an independent controller for the data it processes through AdSense. You can learn more about how Google uses this data, and manage your ad personalization settings, at:

5. Server logs

Our hosting provider may automatically record standard technical logs for security and reliability purposes (such as IP address, browser type, and request timestamps) for a limited retention period, as is standard for virtually all web hosting. We do not use these logs for profiling or marketing.

6. Analytics

oopsiebill.com does not currently run third-party analytics or tracking scripts beyond the optional AdSense cookies described above. If this changes, this policy will be updated accordingly and, where required, your consent will be requested first.

7. Children's privacy

This site is not directed at children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect personal data from children, in line with GDPR requirements on the age of consent for information society services.

8. Your rights under GDPR

If you are in the EU/EEA and interact with any personal data we do process (for example, if you email us), you have the right to request access to, correction of, or deletion of that data, to object to or restrict its processing, and to lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority. Contact us at mg@marcingrzanka.com for any such request.

9. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as the site evolves. The "last updated" date at the top will always reflect the most recent revision. Significant changes affecting how your data is handled will be highlighted on the homepage.
